If your benefits use HealthEquity you can set up your account and passkey on your mobile or computer device.¹
Your benefit selection may include a Health Savings Account (HSA) and one or more Reimbursement Accounts such as a health care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LPFSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) or Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) on the HealthEquity online portal/ mobile app.
Account and passkey set up
Start on web
For online access, go to HealthEquity login (my.healthequity.com) and complete the account registration with passkey set up. The passkey created will work universally for login on web and the HealthEquity app.
Add the HealthEquity app
Download the HealthEquity app and use your established passkey to login. The mobile app will give you a view of all account balances, allow you to activate your card and much more.
Next login
Select “Sign in with passkey” and a pop up with the existing registered passkey on your device will appear. Choose your passkey from the list.
Passkeys are device bound but can be universal for your HealthEquity login
Passkeys are device bound and you may register several – for example, one on your home computer, a second or third on a work computer or mobile phone in the passkey keeper. Device bound means they are stored on the device. The technology behind HealthEquity’s passkey system does support creating and using one universal passkey that supports login across all HealthEquity environments – web logins, mobile app logins. It’s up to you!
When multiple passkeys are created, choose your passkey from the list at login OR you may choose to use a passkey on another device by scanning a QR code with the device that has the passkey.
Your passkey could be stored on a USB key depending on your passkey storage preference.
¹Passkey set up is also available online using a desktop, laptop or tablet computer. A valid phone number is required to register a passkey. SSO login does not require passkey but, direct use of mobile or web login does require passkey. If you have multiple employers and accounts on EZ Receipts, each employer + account requires registration and passkey. HealthEquity offers multiple authentication options to ensure accessibility.
